“Break The Silence” is a project that emerged from the friendship between Spanish artist and drummer Juan Antonio Nieto and musician and photographer Jan Kruml, who connected over their shared passion for music and sound. In 2016, they began exchanging sound files via email, aiming to create a work intended for live performance. The five ambient tracks are the outcome of their collaboration, which was tragically interrupted by Juan Antonio's passing. Jan later completed the project in accordance with their original vision, with the final track on the album composed solely by Jan as a closing piece.

Escucha y Desacarga Madrid Austral

On July 6, 2017, a gathering took place in Madrid, Spain, at La Tortuga de Lavapiés, a very active social and cultural center in the neighborhood, we witnessed a four-part concert organized by Eventos Latimeria / Almudena Villar. The beautiful title of the sound recording you now hold in your hands — “Madrid Austral” — is also her creation.

Javier Piñango, Juan Antonio Nieto, and Mika Martini each offered a solo piece before coming together in a joint performance. A memorable evening, further validated by its release as a record, as it includes a sound document by the great Juan Antonio Nieto aka Pangea, who crossed the Rainbow in Madrid on February 27, 2022.
